Giveaways and Comic Cons

There are only 10 days left to win signed ARCs of Die and Stay Dead and Dying Is My Business!

Enter the Goodreads giveaway today!

In other news, I’ll be at New York Comic Con this weekend, starting today. I’m not on any programming, but you’ll likely see me wandering the floor in a state of perpetual amazement. If you do, please come up and say hello.

The Best Kind of Surprise

Hunt reissue cover

To my surprise and delight, I just received a completely unexpected — and huge — royalty check for Hunt At World’s End. A big thank you to all of you who bought and enjoyed that novel!

A lot of readers only know me from my recent urban fantasy series, but this standalone novel in a shared-world series about two-fisted adventurer Gabriel Hunt was actually my very first published novel. It’s got swashbuckling, wisecracking, ancient tombs, deadly traps, sword fights, jeep chases, weird weapons, and a touch of the supernatural. If you haven’t read it already, why not give it a try?

Another Chance to Win a Free Copy of DIE AND STAY DEAD!

The five lucky winners of Die and Stay Dead‘s recent Goodreads giveaway have all been chosen and notified. Congrats to Anna M., Karen Thompson, R., Alexa (not my wife), and Megan Applegate! Your copies should be shipping from St. Martin’s Press soon, if they haven’t already.

However, I feel bad that the giveaway only lasted five short days. That wasn’t much time for readers to hear about it and enter for a chance to win. So I’ve decided to run another Goodreads giveaway myself. From now until Sunday, October 19th, you can win a signed ARC* of Die and Stay Dead. And as a special bonus, I’ll also throw in a signed ARC of the previous book in the series, Dying Is My Business. Now you don’t have to worry about reading them out of order!

Click here to enter the new Goodreads giveaway. Good luck! And remember, you can’t win if you don’t enter, so get in there!

*ARC = Advance Readers Copy, also known as an Uncorrected Proof. It’s a bound edition of the book sent to early reviewers. It has the cover art and everything, but it may contain typos that weren’t corrected until just before the finished copies were printed.

Last Chance to Win a Free Copy of DIE AND STAY DEAD

Olympia on the box

Here is a picture of Olympia informing me that my author’s copies of Die and Stay Dead are now hers. Ah, well. I enjoyed owning them for a short time, anyway.

In other news, today is your last chance to win a free copy of Die and Stay Dead. But you can’t win if you don’t enter the giveaway, so head on over to Goodreads and get in there! St. Martin’s Press is giving away five (5) copies, so your chances of winning one are actually pretty good!
