The Great Paella Experiment of 2015

Alexa had been talking about trying her hand at making paella for a few months now, so I surprised her with a paella pan from Williams-Sonoma for her birthday. Last night, we gave it a shot and made a chicken and chorizo paella for dinner (this being less complicated than the traditional seafood paella, and therefore perfect for beginners like us). We used a slightly modified version of this recipe.

Since Alexa did most of the work, I decided to document the experience from start to finish with photos on my Twitter account. Now, to make it easier for people to see, I have Storified those tweets.
