Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? by Neil Gaiman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A colorful, nostalgic journey into the legacy of the Batman, courtesy of a surreal, cameo-filled funeral only Neil Gaiman could imagine. There are three shorter, older Gaiman-penned Batman comics included as well, and they’re as thoughtful and imaginative as you’ve come to expect from him. This is one of the best Batman graphic novels I’ve read. Highly recommended.
