More Ways You Can Help Tom Piccirilli

In addition to the IndieGogo fundraiser (which is now at over $14,000!) and the donation of all proceeds from buying any of Tom’s e-books from Crossroads Press, there is now another way to help Tom Piccirilli with what are sure to be astronomical medical expenses from the removal of a brain tumor and all the treatment that comes after. (Remember, folks, most full-time authors can’t afford the cost of health insurance to cover this stuff, which can make it a bankrupting — emotionally as well as financially — ordeal. Inexplicably, there are some U.S. politicians who want to keep it this way. Go figure.)

Tom and I share a publisher in ChiZine Publications (me with the novella Chasing the Dragon, him with the novella Every Shallow Cut), and for the rest of 2012 CZP is generously donating all proceeds from e-book sales of Every Shallow Cut directly to Tom for his medical expenses.

You can buy the e-book here. (The money only comes from copies of the e-book sold directly from their site. They can’t make Amazon, B&N, Kobo, etc. follow suit.)

Called “bloody brilliant” by the Los Angeles Times, I’ve been meaning to read Every Shallow Cut for a while now. This news tipped me over the edge into buying an e-copy today. Perhaps it will for you, too.
